I think that this is one of the most sanitary and clean places around. At first I was scared shitless, but the people talked to me and made me feel at home, accually they pissed me off by saying that it would hurt, so when they did it I wasn't even thinking about it. Maybe if Joe and Buddha would post a complete list of all the winners, all these questions would be answered. How about it guys? SOMEONE must have been keeping records.
I just thought you all might like to know how legitimate tattoo conventions are run. The studios holding the convention DON'T enter their own work, so that there will be no comments about it being rigged. Have you been to any other tattoo conventions? OF COURSE most of the art being shown will be by the local shop since it is held in their town. DUH!!! My comment about the "100 trophies" is based on what I heard from the supplier -- 54 trophies.

DJ, I don't know why you have such a hard on for this matter but I will tell you that it wasn't rigged. It may be the fact that Joe and Ted are the only decent artists in the area and the fact that the majority of people that showed up had work done by them. It is not their fault. I myself won 2 trophies at that show one 1st place in Male Med. Black and Gray and that was done by Freehand Robert, of Northern Lights Tattoo from Michigan, and the other 3rd palce for Male Sleeve which was done by Joe and Ted. You have no facts to go on so I would just shut my mouth if I was you.
D,J..Well for your information. The tattoo convention had exactly 100 trophies that were given to artist. Joe won 10 of them and Ted won 4 of them..Not a whole lot out of 100...Not cool to call me unreliable...I have done as much as I can to get the info for you. The tattoo show had nothing to do with me except to work there..Not my gig..This site is representing Bitchin Bobs Body Piercing...I put Smokin Joes work on here because I am a nice guy.......And again I apoligize that I can not get the info for everybody. I would think you could give a more accurate count of trophies won by Joe and Ted than 15-20, since they are in your own shop. How many did Buddha win? Your statement about the show not being rigged is not believable. You have a problem giving reliable figures. Nevermind. Some artists win trophies -- some buy them.
hello everyone. i am real excited to see the new shop. sorry i havent been down in a while but have been super busy. i havent seen your commercial yet but it sounds like a good one. i have some new tats in mind for after the 1st of the year so i am getting excited to get going on them.you guys should be proud of the work and improvements you guys are making for yourselves. as for dj. what is up? i was at the tatoo show and i thought it was great. i dont think that anything was rigged. i have no idea about who got what or how many there was but who cares. yes it would of been nice for some results of the show, like a viewing of the tats and who gave them and it would of been nice to know how to have gotten a copy of the magazine that they were going to be in but shit happens. that was a while ago, now it is time to start working on the next show. hopefully i will be there again. i am positive that the shows are only going to get bigger and better. hope to see everyone soon. later guys. @-->--- you guys should advertise here when your commercials are up and what channel they are going to be on.

D.J...As to the answer you are looking for..I dont have the answer...I was not in charge of keeping records...I have tried to get the results and have had no response..You can impose that the show was rigged if you want, But all the judges were brought in from another state and the judges had no idea who did the tattoo that they were judging..I am sorry you feel that way...There were almost 100 tropies for the show and I think Joe and Ted won maybe 15 or 20 between the both of them.....I apoligize again that I cannot get the results..And NO I will not erase your comment...
I can't believe you don't know the winners from the April convention over 6 months later. I guess from the number of identical trophies shown in your front window, Smokin Joe won most of them. I notice that the Philadelphia tattoo convention held the week after the one here in GI has already posted the winners of their convention. What's the holdup on getting the winners here in GI posted? What is this Tattoo Directory that is going to do a photo spread? The only one I can find on the 'net is just a list of artists and doesn't show any tat photos.

I just got back from philly at the National Tattoo Convention and had a great time there. I met some cool people there too. I got to meet Paul Booth, Jack Rudy, Brian Everett, Tom Renshaw,and many more great artist. If your into the tattoo world these guys are some of the greats and really cool people. The show was pretty dead, but we still kicked some ass. I Bitchin Bob will be featured in Tattoo Magazine, and also International Tattoo Art Magazine for the back piece Joe did on me. So keep an eye out for any mags that say anything about the 2002 National Tattoo Convention in Philadelphia, Pa.
